Commentary from Pastor Mike White:

“Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God.” – Lk 12:8

Hebrews 1:14 says that angels are, “…ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation.” When we give our lives to Jesus Christ, we inherit salvation. We don’t have to wait until we die to be saved and experience God’s presence; we are saved at the moment we give our lives to Christ.

God sends angels to make preparation for the things He calls us to do. Have you ever arrived at a certain place, and found everything well put together and in order? This is what angels will do on our behalf: they will prepare the spiritual climate and facilitate the performance of God’s word, so that when we arrive on the scene, all we have to do to see Heaven on earth is confidently speak out God’s word, in Jesus’ name.

When we confess Jesus before men, Jesus is free to confess our names before the angels of Heaven. When we proclaim His name, He sends angels to minister on our behalf. When we witness publicly, angels make preparation for all the things God will have us do!

If you need a touch from heaven, go back to basics. Confess Jesus before men. Witness. As you do, Heaven will be mobilized on your behalf.

Prayer:

Father, help me to freely proclaim that I believe in Your Son Jesus Christ for salvation. I will never be embarrassed, and I will never be ashamed. You are my life, and my Light. Send out Your angels to minister on my behalf!
