But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. – Mk 13:11
God will give you the words to speak when you need them most!
This verse is applicable for major meetings, job interviews, and tough conversations with friends and strangers alike. Yes, we must fulfill our responsibility to prepare as best we can. However, we must also recognize that our personal preparation can never be enough. God will speak through us when He needs to be heard!
Prayer:
Father, I welcome every tough conversation You have prepared for me. I know that You will give me the perfect words to speak when I need them most. Thank You!
