Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. – Matt. 4:24
Jesus healed those who were “brought to Him.” Do you know people in your life who need healing? How will they be healed if you don’t bring them to Jesus? Jesus rewards faith. But you will meet people in your life who don’t have faith for their own healing. And that is when you get to bring them to Jesus to prove that He is real!
In Mark 2, four men brought Jesus a man who was paralyzed on a mat. They couldn’t get into the house where Jesus was preaching, so they lowered their friend through the roof. Scripture says that, “When Jesus saw their faith” (Mk. 2:5), the man was healed. In other words, when Jesus saw the faith of this paralyzed man’s friends, the man was healed!
God will heal people through you to prove to them that He is real. Do you know people in your life who are sick? Be a good friend. Bring them to Jesus! He will heal them to show them how much He loves them.
Prayer:
Lord, make me faithful and ambitious to bring people who are in need of healing to You. Thank You for healing to prove You are real! Use me as a vessel to bring people to You, in Jesus’ name!
