Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name…” (Heb 6:10). Some men work for temporal possessions which will be lost when they leave this world. We, however, work for the eternal. Everything we do for God is a labor of love. As we make His name famous, we love those around us by inviting them into deeper fellowship in His Kingdom. God instructs us not to grow weary in doing good (Gal 6:9). God will not forget our work, and eternity will be our reward!
Prayer:
Father, help me to labor out of love. Help me to count everything I do for You as a blessing: a chance to make Your name famous and expand Your kingdom!
