Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. – Jer 31:34

When you give your life to Jesus, the Holy Spirit lives in you! That means you no longer have to rely on other people to hear from God for you. The person God will speak to most about your problems is you. When you go through something tough, do you ask God for guidance? When you experience something difficult, do you rely on the leading of His Holy Spirit?

God has poured out His Spirit on all flesh (Joel 2:28). That means every believer can hear from God. Every man and woman who calls on the name of Jesus can know God through intimate personal encounters with Him. You don’t need someone else to talk to God for you about your life. Invite God to speak to you directly!

Father, thank You for the indwelling presence of Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for speaking to me about my future in You. Thank You for pouring out Your Spirit on all flesh!
