Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers…” (1 Thess 1:2). For whom are you thankful in your life? Paul made clear to the Thessalonians that he showed his love through prayer. He was thankful for God’s people in Thessalonica, so he prayed for them! Are you thankful for your boss? Pray for him or her. Are you thankful for your spouse? Pray for him or her. Show God you’re thankful for the people you love by praying for them. It’s the least you can do!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for all the amazing people You have put in my life. Help me to remember to pray for them. I know they need my prayers, and I am happy to offer them up.
