Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross” (Col 2:14). God has taken the Law and nailed it to the Cross. Jesus Christ did not abolish the Law; He fulfilled it. When He died, our requirement to fulfill the Law died with Him. God, in His perfection, knew that we would forever be imperfect. He sent His Only Son to be nailed to the Cross and die for our sins. Through His death, we are made alive with Him!
Prayer:
Father, thank You that when I trust in Your Son, I am made alive with Him! I am redeemed from my earthly life and brought straight into the things of Heaven!
