CityLight Pastor Commentary:
“My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up” (Ps 5:3). It’s so easy to go through life with our heads down: focused only on those things which are right in front of us and easy to see. But God wants us to take time to look up and speak to Him. Take at least a few minutes every day to stop what you’re doing, look up, and speak to God. Stop worrying about that obstacle that occupies your field of vision, and ask God to give you His vantage point! Give Him thanks, and rejoice for everything He has already done in your life!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for all the blessings with which You have showered me! I’m so blessed, and I know it’s because You see me in the same light as Your Son Jesus Christ.
