Commentary from Pastor Mike White:
…and saw Him saying to me, ‘Make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly, for they will not receive your testimony concerning Me.’ – Acts 22:18
Paul had an amazing testimony. He was raised a Jew, but had a miraculous conversion experience and turned to Christ on the road to Damascus. Yet God promised him that, in this instance, his testimony would not be received.
Whether the people around you receive your testimony is not up to you; it’s up to God. If He decides it is time for them to receive it, they will. Deposit the seed of your testimony in the hearts of the people around you. Then, let God do the watering. He will cause their seed to grow!
No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. – Jn 6:44
Prayer:
Father, help me to share Your gospel with boldness and with power! I never want to hold back sharing Your word with others. I love you, and I trust You, in Jesus’ name!
