The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands…Those who make them are like them; so is everyone who trusts in them. – Ps 135:15, 18
You become what you worship. If you worship idols, you will become like them. If you worship gold, you will become hard and cold. If you worship clothes, you will become tear-able, and you may even go out of style. If you worship family, you will be full of problems and far from perfect. But if you worship God, you will be steadfast and resolute.
You become what you worship. Are you making the right choice?
Prayer:
Father, I choose to worship You! Make me more like You. Confirm me into the likeness of Your image, one day at a time.
