Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
And since Lydda was near Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them. – Acts 9:38
Do you want to be used by God the same way Peter was? Do you want to see paralyzed men arise, and dead women come back to life? Do you want to see blind eyes opened, deaf ears unstopped, life-threatening diseases stopped in their tracks?
Peter was called; and he arose and went. The only difference between believers who don’t see miracles, and those who do, is the latter step out in faith and pray with boldness. They arise when people need healing, and believe wholeheartedly that God will do His work.
Arise! Be bold! Go and pray for someone who is sick and needs healing. What do you have to lose?
Prayer:
Father, fill me with faith to pray for supernatural healing. I want to be like Peter, healing everyone – everywhere – in the name of Jesus!
