Commentary from Pastor Mike White:
The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” – Jn 3:8
God works in mysterious ways. Quite often, we don’t know why He is telling us to do something specific, or to take a particular course of action. We don’t know where He’s coming from. Say yes anyway.
Sometimes, we don’t know where He is taking us, or why He’s calling us to a certain place. We don’t know where He’s going. Say yes anyway.
God is willing to move in unpredictable ways when we give Him the opportunity. But He needs our “yes” and “Amen.” He needs us to make space for Him to move in our lives! When was the last time you set aside an afternoon, just to seek God and ask Him what He wants you to do: where to go, who to talk to, and what to do?
Say yes to God’s Holy Spirit moving in, and through, your life. As we make space for God, He will fill it!
Prayer:
Father, I will make myself available for You. I want Your Holy Spirit to guide me in everything I think, say and do. I want to make myself available for You!
